So today I begged and pleaded my way into getting to drive my grandpa's old Jeep. When he passed away he left it to my mom and I and it was sitting in her garage begging to be driven. It's an old 1979 CJ-7, maroon, with a bikini top and a V8 engine(and boy do those pipes rattle!). Needless to say, I'm in love! My mom, dad and I drove out to put a sign in the ground on one of the places they're selling and we drove around the lake coming back and it was awesome. It was just a really great, fun, simple day. One of those days where you just laugh and laugh. Great times!! Can't wait until the weather is more like this.

It is nice to travel back to memory lane once and a while. I have realized that after purchasing a newer vehicle, I was better off with the one that was built tough. I can see where you would be enmeshed with the Jeep--auto factories just don't make quality vehicles anymore. Additionally, seems as though everything make these days look alike. I'd hold onto the unique Jeep too!!
