I'm sure most people have seen the story by now that Heath Ledger has passed away at the horribly young age of 28. Only three years older than me! It is sooo sad and shocking. The saddest parts being that someone broke the story before the mother of his child, Michelle Williams was told; the lengths that Hollywood goes to in order to exploit people never ceases to amaze me! And perhaps the saddest part of all is that he left a little girl behind :( Sooo sad. Here's one of the many many stories about his death, of which the cause is still unknown.

I too was very sad to hear the news. He was an actor that I really admired...he was so talented. I totally agree with the fact that the media always takes everything to the extreme. It is somewhat repulsive that people pretty much destroy other people for a living. I can't imagine how hard that would have been for his ex-girlfried and mother of his child to find out from the story on the media before being given the horrific news. And the sadest part of all is that he has a 2 year old daughter that will have to grow up without a father. It breaks my heart...
Man, am I the only person not saddened by Heath Ledger's death? I have friends upon friends that are making odes to Heath Ledger, R.I.P Heath Ledger, etc. etc. I mean, I am sad that another soul had lost it's life, but I have no ties to heath ledger. It was just like when Anna Nicole died. I have no pity for stupid life decisions. If he chose to take his own life, so be it. If it was an accidental overdose, that sucks. But overall, I'm still thinking that he probably knew better. Really not trying to be calloused. I have sympathy for those that lose loved ones, but was he an icon to those that are sad? What am I missing?
